These courses are designed to support all personnel operating in the energy sector and related industries, including contractors and third-party vendors. As global industry standards continue to evolve, certified safety training is becoming a critical requirement across project sites and operational teams.
What is IMIST?
IMIST (International Minimum Industry Safety Training) is a globally standardized OPITO program that ensures workers, whether offshore or onshore, have a solid foundation in key safety principles.
The course covers:
- Risk assessment and hazard control
- Working safely at height and with lifting equipment
- Manual handling and safe working practices
- Control of work systems and hazardous substances
What is IMIST Further?
IMIST Further is a refresher course for individuals who have previously completed IMIST and need to renew their certification in accordance with industry safety requirements.
