IMIST Further covers the key safety elements required by all employees working in the energy industry. It also ensures the knowledge and understanding of these basic safety elements are maintained and current amongst the existing workforce. This training is for experienced offshore workers to renew their IMIST certification every four years.

Pre-requisites

Learners must possess:

  • A valid OPITO IMIST Initial or valid OPITO IMIST Further training certificate.

Or

  • A valid OPITO Vantage number And
  • Have previously worked offshore*

Learners are required to complete a declaration prior to course commencement confirming prior offshore work experience, including details of their last offshore trip, to include asset name, location and dates.
