The course is designed for personnel who are working in the offshore oil and gas industry and who require re-validation in the safety and emergency response training and assessments to work in an offshore, tropical warm water environment. Tropical warm water operating areas are defined as those areas within the geographical domain of the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn; however, areas out with this domain with a consistent water temperature in excess of 590 F./150 C. may also be included.

T-HUET with CA-EBS

The course is designed to prepare learners that intend to travel to and from offshore oil and gas installations and vessels by helicopter in a tropical environment by providing specific training in pre-flight and in-flight requirements and to equip learners with the basic emergency response knowledge and skills required in the event of a helicopter emergency, using a CA-EBS – with a specific focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching and sea survival techniques.

The course was designed to meet the core competence and safety training requirements that are relative to all the tropical warm water operating areas of the offshore oil and gas Industry.
